Understanding Carpet
Part II
It is best to consider the following points to identify the
carpet.
1 – In the early stage, we must identify the raw materials used in the carpet to
ensure that they are natural, that the method of identifying wool and natural
silk was described in the main factors.
2 – Next we need to ensure the color consistency of the cream used in the carpet
because the cream will not be color stable if the materials are painted and
generally the carpet woven with the above cream will be worthless.
3 – Carpet dimensions control according to the design and role that we should
consider the following.
(A) In the case of carpets woven with map 1.4, the following should be noted.
-First, determine the center of the rug, then measure the rug from the beginning
to the middle and from the middle to the end, which should be equal in size, and
then do the same in width. The left and right half of the rug are equal.
– In case of carpets of bergamot and bergamot, bergamot should be located in the
center of the carpet and should be symmetrical on both sides of the carpet on
the lower side of the carpet and should be equal in size. In addition, the
motifs and flowers of the four sides of the rug must be symmetrical in the
design, and the upper half plan should be the same as the lower half and
opposite.
B) The following points are required for Map 1.2 as well.
We first measure the width of the rug by the meter and then determine its
center, which in the case of Map 1.2
should be equal to the left and right half of the rug and the design of the left
and right rug should be symmetrical.
(C) In the case of maple maps, the dimensions of all parts of the maple shall
also be equal.
D) In the case of overall roles, the dimensions of the motifs should be
proportional to the number of rugs and drawings.
4 – Texture control: As you know, carpets are woven with two types of Persian
and Turkish knots, so that we can identify the type of carpet knot, with one
needle we cut the roots back. If one root came out the knot is Persian and if
neither came out the knot is Turkish and if both
roots came out the carpet is knitted
with knot and is of no value in terms of durability and strength. Also, by
dipping our fingers into the carpets we can see that the carpet is hollow or
hollow if our fingers are easily penetrated into the carpets and reach the tarp
pads. Not necessary.
5 – Carpet Count: As you know the higher the carpet count, the rug is more
elegant and valuable. To control the count, if the carpet is woven with Persian
knot mark 6.5 cm and count the knots and if knit with Turkish knot mark 7 cm and
count the knots to determine the count. The rug must match the length and width
of the rug, if the carpet is mismatched.
6 – Carpet Sleep Control: The height of the carpets that form the carpet sleep
varies depending on the carpet count and varies from 12 to 3 mm.
The important thing is that the height of the towels should be the same in all
parts of the carpet and not the lamb carpet, which can be done by touching the
carpet with the fingers.
In addition, the height of the villi should not be low (corn) because it is not
durable if the carpet is corn.
7 – Carpet Behind Control: There are many things you can do to control the back
of a carpet. The back of the carpet
should be smooth and uniform and at the same time the back of the carpet should
be controlled for the lack of flatness, tear and type of wicking.
8 – Carpet weaving: The first and last carpet weaving should be controlled and
the minimum number of carpet weights should be 10 and if the carpet pads are of
the same type it is better.
9 – Carpet Control: The carpet should not be damaged in case, carpet, tilt,
double color, uplift, lower because if the carpet has case, for example, the
case of Casey will be exposed to abrasion and its lint will be removed. It turns
into a river.
10 – Controlling the carpet buds: in terms of being one-handed and uniform.
11 – Carpet control in terms of corrosion: This defect can be seen behind the
carpet for various reasons and the carpet is worn.
The causes that cause this fault are:
A) No anti-moth cream
B) prolongation of tissue length
C) Keep the carpet in a warm, humid place away from the air for a long time
