handmade carpets

increases the carpet life. Proper maintenance of the carpet continues from the
time the raw materials are prepared to start the carpet texture until the end of
the carpet life. If you need to keep the rug out of use for a long time, it must
be packed first. If you use plastic or plastic wrap for packaging, keep in mind
that this type of cover will create moisture inside the plastic and will
eventually mold the carpet. If you keep the carpets in a closed container, such
as a box or box, you can use naphthalene or tobacco tablets inside the box and
change these materials from time to time.
Among the destructive and damaging factors in carpet we can mention living and
environmental factors:
Living Factors: Insects, carpet beetles, termites, mice, willows and so
on.
Environmental Factors: Humidity, Heat, Light, Pollution, ...
To protect the carpet against the above factors it is best not to keep the
carpet in a dark and humid environment. Avoid direct sunlight. Sunlight not only
causes the carpet to be pale in color, it also damages the fibers and structure
of the carpet.
To protect the carpet against living factors: If you see insects that
cause carpet damage, take appropriate insect pesticides to eliminate them and it
is best to avoid mosquitoes when preparing fibers (wool، silk، Cotton)
anti-willow, and if not possible, be sure to anti-willow carpet after the
operation.
In order to prevent the insects from growing and growing, they must be kept in
the carpet storage area. Air conditioning and air circulation should also be
considered and the environment chosen for carpet maintenance should be light
enough.
